TOP LOAD VS FRONT LOAD
There are two primary types of Washing machines: front load and top load. Both have their pros and cons, it depends on the preference of the user.
Front load washer provide a gently and quiet washing experience. Most people prefer front load washer because they appear to be more modern and aesthetically pleasing with advanced feature. They have a common issue of developing mold on the door gasket. An easy solution is to periodically remove the water built up coupled with leaving the door open when loads are finished. Some new models have a built in fan to help remove moisture.
Top load washing machines are the traditional style. Top load washers provides a more aggressive washing process. Top load washing machines either have a wash plate or agitator inside the tub.
Wash plate system is a design to address the desire to have a larger load capacity. This design uses the natural friction of the clothing to wash the garments. A common complaint from top load washer owner with a wash plate system is the amount of water used to wash the clothing. Top load washer use less water by design for two reasons. One, to meet standards of water conservation. Two, if the garments are fully submerged in water they make less contact with each other resulting in a sub optimal washing performance.
Washing machines with an agitator is a common design, and is known as an "old school" design. This is the typical washer your parents or grandparents used. If you are not into the bell and whistle, with you main concern being clean clothing by any means. This is the washer for you. Top load washer with an agitator uses the aggressive motion loosen and remove stains from your garments. Most people who are accustom to agitators and switch to wash plates assume their washer needs a repair, because of the water amount removal a heavy stains. When deciding between an agitator or wash plate system consider what's your priority in the performance of your washer. More tub capacity, or an aggressive wash experience?
WATER LEAKING
Another common washing machine complaint is leaking water. Leaking water is a unique issue, because it needs to be resolve immediate to prevent extensive damage. The origin of leaking water varies depending on whether it's a top load or front load washing machine.
However, for both front and top load washing machines the unexpected issue could be the standpipe drain of the home. Meaning the plumbing tube from the home that the washing machine's drains into may be clogged. The best way to identify this issue would be to watch the washing machine when it drains the large amount of water during cycle. If this is the problem it will slowly fill and begin to overflow. In this case a plumber is needed, the washing machine is not the issue.
Common issues:
Not draining
Little/no water
Not starting cycles
Not finishing cycles
No power/Not turning on
Violent shaking
Loud noises
Not agitating
Not spinning
Leaking water

At this point give us a call and we take care of your issue. 980 819 1219.
AIRFLOW
Lastly, airflow is another factor effecting your dryer performance. Airflow consist the rate air is being pushed out of the unit by the blower fan. As the air is pushed out of the dryer it travels through the air duct system then exits the home. The probably usually located within the homes air duct system. It is recommended to have your air duct system professionally cleaned at least once a year.
As time goes by lint exiting the air duct system get caught on the interior walls, causing air flow issues. A quick diagnosis of this issue can be performed by checking the air duct vent on the exterior of the home. If the dryer is on the the flap does not wave open, then airflow is most likely your issue.
